Here at Yo Yo Bar & Restaurant we have a healthy selection of pan-Asian vegetarian dishes to enjoy. Our vegetarian cuisine encompasses a range of Chinese, Japanese and Thai delights, each of which oozes flavour derived from the freshness of our authentic eastern ingredients. The Vegetarian Thai Green Curry is one of the most popular dishes on our menu, which can be described as creamy (with the delightfully rich coconut sauce ) and aromatic through the inclusion of galangal (a fragrant Thai ginger).

Vegetable Dim Sum (V)

Chinese Dumpling pastry stuffed with mixed seasonal vegetables and soya sauce, steamed and then pan fried.

Tom Yam Soup with Vegetables (GF) (V)

A traditional Thai Soup with stock made with Thai herbs, lemongrass, galangal, lime leaf, coriander, mushroom, fresh seasonal vegetables and chillies.

Edamame (V) (GF)

Traditional blanched Japanese soya beans – can be served Japanese style (salted) or with a black bean sauce.

Vegetable Tempura (V)

Seasonal vegetables deep fried in a light tempura batter served with Tempura sauce.

Vegetable Samosas (V)

Filo pastry triangle stuffed with mixed vegetables and selected spices, deep fried served with a mint yogurt raita.

Chinese thick noodles stir fried with seasonal vegetables in soy sauce.

Ginger and Spring Onion Stir Fried Vegetables (V)

Oriental and seasonal vegetables stir fried in the wok with spring onions and freshly grated ginger.

The great thing about Yo Yo’s is if you are in a group of vegetarians and non-vegetarians everyone is guaranteed a fantastic evening, because there is something for everyone.

I have returned to good restaurants but none so much as Yo Yo’s over a short period of time! This is Asian fusion food and the vegetarian choice is immense with Thai, Chinese and Japanese taste buds all catered for!

The vegetable combo for starters offers a great variety for sharing. I have already tried many Thai and Chinese dishes with still more to come plus the Japanese and can’t wait to try the Sushi.
